During a month-long road trip through wild landscapes, small towns and unfamiliar places, three friends stopped for a coffee in a quiet mountain town. Somewhere between conversations about the road behind them and where to go next, an idea took shape: sunglasses should feel as good as the moments you wear them in.

That idea became sone glasses, an independent eyewear brand for people who appreciate good design, quality and individuality, without needing to make a statement about it.

Even our name carries a little of where we came from. SONE is a play on the German word Sonne, meaning sun, with a sound that naturally echoes sunglasses.

Each frame combines precision production with hand finished details, and every pair features polarized lenses.

By working directly with our manufacturers, selling directly to you and keeping the unnecessary costs of traditional luxury eyewear out of equation, we can offer premium sunglasses at a more down to earth price.
